GU Journalen

GU Journalen is the official news magazine for the staff at the University of Gothenburg, with a circulation of 6,400 copies. The aim of the magazine is to publish news and feature articles about the acitivities of the university. The editorial office works according to journalistic values and principles and the chief editor is also legally responsible for the periodical.

As the University has a number of staff who don’t speak Swedish, one page of the magazine is in English. In order to further increase the opportunities for non Swedish-speaking staff to become acquainted with what is going on within the University, in future the Vice-Chancellor’s column along with the English language articles will be published on this website.
